Free trial
New subscribers get 14 days free. A payment card is needed to start the trial, but nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If you don't cancel, your card is charged automatically for the plan you chose when the trial ends. We email you a reminder before that happens.
How to cancel
Cancel any time, online, at Settings → Manage subscription. It takes a few clicks; you don't need to contact us. You'll get an email confirming the cancellation.
When you cancel, your subscription won't renew. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds
Monthly plan. We don't refund partial months. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
Yearly plan. If you ask within 14 days of a yearly charge (your first one after the trial, or a renewal), we'll refund it in full. After that, we don't refund the rest of the year, but you keep access until it ends.
Forgot to cancel? If you were charged (monthly or yearly) and haven't used the app since the charge, email us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund it.
Always refunded:
- If you were charged by mistake (for example, a double charge).
- If we close your account without you breaking our Terms, or shut the app down: we refund the unused part of your paid period.
- Anything else the law where you live says we must refund.
How to ask: email hello@tokiwa-labo.com from the email address on your account. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. (verify Stripe's current timing)
Where the app is available
The app isn't available to people living in the European Union or the United Kingdom yet. If a subscription is started with a billing address or card from one of those countries, we cancel it during the free trial, so nothing is charged, and email you to explain. If there was no free trial (you'd had one before) and a payment was taken, we cancel it straight away and refund that payment in full.
